I associate white with summer: linen blouses, light pants, white hippie dresses. And even if anything white is predestined to get stained, I love the lightness of a white piece. And after all, a little bit of effortlessness is exactly what we need in winter, when the days are getting shorter and the city drowns in darkness.

Wearing

White in Winter

I searched for a white opaque jeans for ages. Finally in June, I found the perfect pair at Urban Outfitters and I am still loving it. Thick denim, high-waisted, a frayed hem with a slightly flared cut. It is not a very harsh pure white, more of a very light ivory color, which is much more flattering.

I picked an oversized sweater in the same shade and threw on my new favorite biker jacket by Asos. The color reminds me so much of rose gold jewelry. It probably works very well with any shade of white. Good news: The jacket is on sale right now!

However, I wasn’t able to ditch black completely, therefore, I chose my favorite patent black boots by Mango.

And considering the rainy weather, black shoes seem reasonable!
